We introduce activities to meet their natural curiosity, growing energy and development, whether its pouring at a water table, stacking tumbling blocks or playing with shapes and puzzles.
We encourage exploration and introduce skills such as:
- Sensory and tactile skills
- Gross motor skills
- Communication and language development
- Social and environmental skills
- Toileting and self help skills
In an environment filled with encouragement, your child will experience the early successes he or she needs to grow and develop independence. Your child will have fun playing along side new friends of his or her age!
“I'm Liane and I am Room Leader of the Toddlers & Twos room. I have recently moved to the Cheltenham/Gloucester area and started working at Meadows Day Nursery in April of this year. I have worked in nurseries previously, having experience in all ages up to five years.
“In the Toddlers & Twos room we aim to promote a safe learning environment, where children have the opportunity to learn through sensory experiences. We work closely with parents as their children settle in, offering familiar toys as the children create bonds, introducing key workers to comfort and work with them throughout their time at nursery.
“My overall aim for the children is to develop their natural personalities as they grow, and promote areas of learning through new and exciting activities.”
